1. THE EDEN PROJECT

What a beauty! The Merchant Adventurers’ hall was built between 1357 and 1361, before most of the craft or trade guild halls in Britain, it is Grade I Listed building and Scheduled Ancient Monument. Not only this building has so much history to tell , but it is perfect for holding a charming rustic wedding. And best of all, it can easily accommodate 20 to 180 guests. Large ceremonies are held in stunning timbered Great Hall, whilst small ceremonies (20 people or less) are held in the elegant Governor’s Parlour.

You can choose from three different romantic locations for your civil ceremony. From the Great Hall and Garden Room which are both indoor options for up to 200 guests, to the beautiful White Garden.

If you would love to have a church ceremony, at Birtsmorton Court you will find that too. The country parish church can accommodate up to 115 guests.

Cheshire is a county in the northwest of England, bordering the Merseyside and Manchester on north, Derbyshire on the east, Staffordshire and Shropshire on the south and Wales on the west. And in this pretty county lies beautiful Sandhole Oak Barn, surrounded by breathtaking nature and landscapes. Farm is owned by David and Veronica Worth, and you could say it has been like that always. The Worth family roots in the area go back even further. David’s mother’s family have lived with a mile of the farm for at least 130 years, while his father moved from the neighbouring parish of Marton when he married David’s mother in 1947. Because of all this romantic landscape and the Worth family history, this could be a perfect place to start your new life chapter. Devon is a grand dutchy in southwest England. It borders Cornwall in the west, and dutchies of Dorset and Somerset on the east. It’s souther shores are located on the English channel, while northern are on the Bristol Channel. We could say that this is one of more romantic places in whole Britain. The Great Barn is a part of Place Barton. It’s a family estate owned by Emma and John who moved there from London. After buying the Place Barton and rebuilding it, they made it available for weddings. Emma and John are also available for organizing the wedding, Emma will help you with her ideas, and John will help you with furniture and even music. They will make your wedding less stressful to organize, and that is always nice to know and have, right? Interior is filled with history, rustic look, and if you want, it can become a real bohemian paradise. Add a lot of ivy, field flowers and candles. And not only that the interior is beautiful, the surroundings and gardens are looking like they came out of a movie. We could say that they have a real English charm. There is also a parking lot for 45 cars, and you can have up to 150 guests.

 

9. THE GREAT BARN AT LYDE COURT

Location: Herefordshire

Herefordshire is a county in the West Midlands of England, governed by Herefordshire Council. It borders Shropshireto the north, Worcestershire to the east, Gloucestershire to the south-east, and the Welsh counties of Monmouthshire and Powys to the west.

In this county lies beautiful Lyde Court, which is simply breathtaking. This farm dates all the way to the 14th century and hasn’t changed much since then. Lyde Court is set in a private and isolated Herefordshire valley, yet is astonishingly only two miles from Hereford City centre. Cressing Temple itself is steeped in history dating back to the 1100’s when it was given to the Knights Templar and home to three Grade I listed barns as well as Tudor built Walled Gardens. In the 13th Century the Barley and Wheat Barns were constructed.
